About us

The London Nautical School was founded in 1915, as a consequence of the official report into the loss of the “Titanic”. In 1990, it became one of the country’s first 11-18 comprehensive secondary schools for boys to be awarded grant maintained status.

In September 1999, we became a Foundation School within the London Borough of Lambeth. The school is situated in Stamford Street on the south bank of the River Thames, in between Blackfriars Bridge and Waterloo Bridge.
Find out more about our school!

The London Nautical School is a small, heavily over-subscribed inner city 11-18 Boys’ Foundation School with a co-educational Sixth Form. It offers a secure and highly disciplined working environment, which encourages all pupils to reach their full potential. This is an exciting time to join the school following a successful recent OfSTED inspection and the award of Specialist Sports College Status from September 2003.

We currently have no vacancies.
