Bankside Open Spaces Trust

The school are working in collaboration to design and build a school garden on the site of the staff car park. As part of the process a delegation of students and staff were able to visit a number of the Trust’s other sites to get ideas and to draw up design plans in preparation of the the build this year. One of these sites is situated next to the Tate Modern and consited of a diverse range of plants and fauna. As it was close to the river it had a maritime flavour which gave us the idea of a nautical character for our garden. The project is very exciting for all the students involved and they are they are keen to create a tranquil green and sustainable space for both the school and our local community. As the plan unfolds we will keep you up to date with all the developments.  N.McGregor
