Does anybody remember the school trip to the Lake District in May/ June 1953.

One week walking around the area, camping overnight.  Trip was organized by the geography teacher, who’s name I can’t recall and led by Mr. (Dai) Elliot, the PE and occasional maths teacher. We returned by train on Coronation Day and I can remember seeing the celebration street parties in some of the Lancashire towns from the train.
